Importing and Exporting Trace Capture Files

Intel® GPA enables you to import/export trace capture files from/to different directories on you machine. This is useful since the Intel® GPA Platform Analyzer uses a standard directory for storing and loading all trace capture files.

To import a certain file:

  1. Launch the Intel® GPA Platform Analyzer.
  2. Select Open Trace… from the File menu.

  3. In the Open Frame Capture File dialog window, click the Import… button.

  4. In the Open window, find the file to import.

All imported files are listed in the Trace Capture Files field.

To export a certain file:

  1. Launch the Intel® GPA Platform Analyzer.
  2. Select Open Trace… from the File menu.
  3. In the Trace Capture Files field of the Open Trace Capture File dialog window, select the file to be exported and click the Export… button.

  4. In the Save As window select the location to which you want to store the file.
