Changing a D3D Device for the Instrumented Process

While your graphics application works with multiple D3D devices, you can change which D3D device for the instrumented process is being used to collect metrics and show the Intel® GPA System Analyzer Head’s-up Display.

  1. Launch your application that works with multiple D3D devices, as described in Launching an Application.
  2. Enable the HUD Display Mode by using the keyboard-shortcut combination, which is Ctrl+F1 by default.
  3. Change D3D devices by using the keyboard-shortcut combination, which is Ctrl+F5 by default.

For example, you can change a D3D device of the instrumented process for Mozilla* Firefox*, if the Intel® GPA System Analyzer HUD is displayed on the title bar instead of the tab of interest.
