Exporting Metrics

With the Intel® GPA System Analyzer you can export metric values to the CSV file to post-process the analysis of your application.

To export metric values:

  1. Launch the graphical application with the Intel GPA System Analyzer.
  2. Make sure that the application window is active.
  3. Press CSV Export Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers sa csv Exporting Metrics or use Ctrl+Shift+E instead to start gathering metrics data.

    NOTE

Exporting metrics stops if you add any new metrics to charts or completely remove metrics from charts.

  4. To stop populating the CSV file, press CSV Export Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers sa csv on Exporting Metrics or use Ctrl+Shift+E instead, or click Back.

The Intel GPA System Analyzer automatically generates a unique file name for saving the metrics data.

The filename consists of two fields: the name of the game executable and the export date and time, in the format <executable name>_<date_time>. For example: StateManager.exe_2012_02_17__11_25_14.csv, StateManager.exe_2012_02_17__11_25_14.csv.

Note

All created CSV files are saved on the client machine with the .csv extension and by default reside in the user’s home directory:
on a system with Microsoft Windows Vista* OS or Microsoft Windows* 7 OS the default home directory is C:Users%USERNAME%DocumentsGPA_2012_R1.
