Finding the Exact Frame in the Application

You can inspect dynamic effects (lighting, explosion, particles, etc.) frame by frame by using the Step Forward button  Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers sa play b Finding the Exact Frame in the Application.

To find the exact place in your target graphical application and capture a frame for further detailed effect analysis:

  1. Launch the graphical application with the Intel® GPA System Analyzer.
  2. Press Pause Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers sa p b Finding the Exact Frame in the Application.
  3. Press Step Forward Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers sa play b Finding the Exact Frame in the Application to go from frame to frame in series until you find the required frame.
  4. Press Capture Frame… Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers sa fc b Finding the Exact Frame in the Application to capture the frame.
